The Elect have gathered to celebrate their sorrow. And there arrive the Wise. Who come disguised to silence the Nunc Dimitri.
These people just gathered and you say they are worthless? You the Wise, get schooled again.
A problem is a demigod in this world. People from all walks of life face one or two problems. Some even adore it as if it had the All-Potent power of God in Heaven to kill. Because of problems, more knowledge is in the world. Even the dullard has awareness of the consequences of a problem. For this course, there are many runny mouths who run mouth-watering commentary to show how much they dare know. Comments like; “We suggested this to them”. “We talked about it that much that we almost thought they would agree to do it that way”, etc are almost always idea killing with the potential of taking one to the grave.
There are those who were aware of the problem. They would vouch that they knew about it by illumination. They could always argue it out. But they are not always ready to give the solution.
The time has come for the solutions other than the many prophesies of the problem. Don’t just discuss in vacuum. Say something nice which has the tendency to bring about permanent change. The “it is done this way” must stop. Let us give solutions.

When do I become a friend? When I follow you, kill for you, lie for you, give you undue praise and sneak snake for you. THEY run the show.
This impartially describes us as a people in the district. Hard to believe but this is the little reality. Chereponi is blessed of course. Rich in intelligent people, rich in spatial control but so impoverished in Communal thinking. Why? We the people know how it is done. The incharge is a boss and in control without tenable advice.
The teeming youth know. Yes, they know. Better than you think or ever imagine. The world is digital, remember! Some surf the net for the records credible or not. Argumentum ad baculum orders the day and way in the talk. Always folktales of better tomorrows after the pulley. We did it this way. We were better. Nay. We are doing this way. We are the best. The few who benefit from this say the whole of the land is/was happy with our regime. We outdid or are outdoing is but only skepticism, eccentricity and a bona fide quotation. This can’t be the voice of the General Public. Give us the chance to judge you. Open the forum for the constructive criticism and feedback. Just accept your fallibility and wait on for what is in the womb of time. Posterity would say what is next. But this is not done. Instead, we are consumed in false defense and unpatriotic engagements.
Oh! But the ENLIGHTENED YOUTH. One or two letters of qualification and pooooh. We are brainy. We are champs in our own right. Could we afford a better way? Who is he/she with PhD in lie telling? He wins the faith, conscience, blinded sincerity and confidence of the crocodile surfing the waves. It is he who at oddity and for parochial interest, interact and divulge secret, that gets the applause and the Lions share of the pocketed cake.
You’re on my side, then you enjoy. You educate me, then you’re against the brain. The relationship is strained. No need to thaw it up. Since you least matter to the course of collective building.
This is where we are drawn to preferment given by preference other than by old gradation.
Little is the loaf than none of it. Just taste it like that.
Is there a substitute for loyalty and patriotism in the world? Yes, there is. At least, in my area.
I know this would distaste, and stinkingly provoke the quietess soul but it is worth saying.

#Weism is substituted for solitariness.
#Sympathy is substituted for apathy.
#Compassion is substituted for dissension.
You can mention the rest. Yes! I know you can. We have arrived at the airport of equalization, like for like and tit-for-tat treatment. This is unfair. The question remains unchanged. Who would be the best Conscience Teacher? When is he/she getting employed to start work?
But I can introduce you to one. Mr Posterity. He’s always at your beck and call. If only your voice would be sonorous enough.
This planet is fanatically inclined. The beliefs are numerous. The ideology is centralised. Principles fail to stand the test of time. It is a near perfect stage of indemnity. Error is permissible. Truth is error in reverse. What is known is former to what we do. The world’s absurdities!
Like a plate, there are twice personality displayed. One is Will, and the other, Do. All stemmed from “To…”something. The person of Do is former in our time. We must all welcome the person of Do.
This Do is great. It is action oriented. It walks the talk. It manifests. There is avalanche of proofs of wrought. No need of indemnity. It is anti-social. Life works behind speaking. This is where it grows, develops, expands, affects and imparts. It is the Do person.
Lest I forget, as for the Will person, hmm!!! I guess you know. It is the usual blab of if you pulley, I will; if you piano, I will; if you table, I will. But fails and fails and fails with petered passion.
Can we agree that some just don’t will to do?
It all starts on a wanton day!
The woman in labour makes the ear-nailed wish. To born with no pain nor complications sustained. The students in best time hitherto exams wish to sail through with excellent grades. The wish of the hunter is to hit the target at prime time. The borrower wishes that the lender dies in time before the deadline of repayment. Let us just say that there are wishes bigger than that of the horse’s.
Are wishes dreams or just akin to them? The elders know the syllogism for a successful life. And they opine that it is premised on a step in motion to will and to do. There and then I ask, where is the school of our fathers? Did their company with the summer lease bless their wisdom? Why do the new generation fail often to grasp with these exigencies of life.
It is simply borne of sheer lip service wishes and promises. To lie and to undo what is done: To break the ties of loyalty to unite with disloyalty. To engage meaninglessness against meaningfulness. To begrudge the honourable speaker for the diamond of tale-telling.
But what is actually the danger of this lip service? One’s personality, dignity, integrity and reputation is dragged conspicuously, into the mud. The times will come where the wanton desire to right the wrongs will never anti-clockwise. It surely will be the era of had I known…at last.
So while you’re yet a gold, shine unto all nations before you turn bauxite.
#Our leaders should build a network of global connection to attract high profile government and private officials for developmental projects.
#There should be a policy which seeks to grant capacity building opportunities to the youth in the various clans. For example, at least, for each year in government or office, a maximum of five or ten youths from the various clans are given opportunities in the army, police, immigration, school-health, teaching and other professional careers.
#At least, for a year, people at the helm of affairs in the district could hold community fora to update people on the happenings in the administrative arena. This will open doors to welcoming fresh and skipped ideas.
#Whether the era of governance in the district be skirt and blouse or not, at least, there could be a communal agenda compelling all parties to follow suit which of course must bother on giving the district a face lift in one or two areas of development every passing year.
#If possible, the youth in active politics should tone down on their deep and so passionate political activities. I question always the strange but powerful affinity. Sentimental politics, the game of equalization, and the sheer stand aloof nature of stakeholders in the tradition and ancestry of the community must cease. There is always going to be One Chereponi to be developed by us all. Just as must as we can exude all our energies in our parties o win, why can’t redirect this necessary energy into fighting a common course for the district to develop? Let us Rethink please!
#The most sensitive areas of need in the district include: better health care delivery, better educational delivery, good road network, potable water and good sanitation sanitation. Should the people at the helm of affairs tackle these facets of development religiously with passionate commitment, why would this young district not grow?
#Walking the talk for permanent and eternal peace is a collective responsibility. Should conflict entrepreneurs cease to engage deep interest in instability, every young and old would see the need for peace. Could the community people at the core of the Peace Council rethink and redo the needful by default, we would grow again.
#If the dog who barks for the dropped but competed bone is quietly offered the bone, what would make it to bark loudly? May someone be touched by the Almighty to think in my direction.
The times come in variance. Some come to tick the hour for which to drag along the company of work while some come just to blab the talk of words.
Luckily enough, the time of times long awaited has come. We are by this time measuring the success of young dreams. We have persevered and endured the turbulence and the hitches of somewhat past and current times encountered. Our young dreams for success are daily rebirthed to erase the memory of procrastination. By such times, we aborted our telegraph for novelty.
We count on the days passed, the years spent and the months we should have made a headway. We need to figure out what truly our pain is and where it lies within us.
Just when the clock ticked again, we all awoken to the reality of the new times. And we all say, in Chereponi, we need to work the words. Let us unseat the wording and enthrone the working. This is worth doing.
